Planning your first trip to Peru? Peru has it all: coast, Andes, and Amazon rainforest, ancient history, unique landscapes, and one of the best cuisines in the world. If you only have 10 days, this itinerary is perfect to discover the best of the country in a single journey, visiting Lima, Nazca, Arequipa, the Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, and the iconic Machu Picchu.

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Lima: Begin your adventure in Peru’s capital. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and have the afternoon free to explore Miraflores, enjoy local cuisine, or visit the bohemian district of Barranco.

  • Day 2 - Flight over the Nazca Lines: Travel to Pisco to take a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. From the air, you’ll spot shapes like the hummingbird and monkey traced into the desert. Return to Lima in the afternoon.
